((this is NOT an RP, but a part of my characters backstory. please show some respect and at least read HALF of it, for it took a great deal of time to write it. Thanks.))
A brief history of Mida-Li.
Mida-Li is a small farming community nestled in the far west, on the other side of the Ashe Mountains. It lies south of the port city of Seyda Neen, north of the Old Fortress, and east of the Algan Sea. 200 years ago it was known as Tarrleyton, but renamed after the Emperor Midale, who had originally been from here. For centuries, this has been the chief source of all produce in the world of Kamiya, due to its excellent climate and fertile soil year round. A centuries old goat path still runs from Mida-Li all the way to Lake Brum, which was used by infantry soldiers 400 years ago in the last Great War of the Second Age. Mida-Li has always had a pretty good economy with their produce exports, so there are very few, if any, peasants. The atmosphere is something Second Age, theres nothing really fancy about the place. Its citizens are always cheerful, its children always playing in the outlying meadows. All seems to be going well, that is until the year of our Emperor, 423 TA.
October, 9.
There are rumors that Seyda Neen was attacked by wild man beasts from the Northern Wastes. No one knows for certain whether or not this is truth. the only thing for certain is that some report seeing bright light coming from the north in the dead of night.
October 11.
It is confirmed. Seyda Neen has been attacked. There were no survivors.
October 12.
A strange man has made his way into town today. His skin was pitch black, his appearance was ghastly and nightmarish, but surprisingly the man was rather peaceful. After walking around town for a bit, he left, going north towards the ruins of Seyda Neen.
October 13.
Seems a few children have disappeared in the middle of the night without a trace. search parties were sent out during the day, they returned with no evidence or the children. The people of Mida-Li are fearful of who might go missing next.
The town elects a Watchman to keep watch at night.
October 14.
The Watchman reports seeing strange creatures roaming around the outskirts of town. A small militia is formed to stop the creatures if they plan to attack. Bren Talvane joins this particular militia.
For the next few days and nights, there is nothing of any significance to report.
October 19.
A dark skinned orc walks into the Old Tobey's Tavern. He calls himself "Twin Blade", and he is looking for a fight. Bren Talvane and VALMIR SILVERWOLF give him this fight. Using crudely made iron swords, they battle and kill Twin Blade, decapitate him, and put his head on a post outside the tavern as a warning to any other "orcbarians".
A few weeks go by with nothing to report.
November 5.
Blood, everywheres. Dead bodies litter the streets while houses burn. The Orcbarians have attacked Mida-Li. It was just a matter of time. The militia was the first to fall under their savage blades. Screams of women being raped and murdered while children get eaten alive echo throughout the burning town. Bren Talvane, who is assumed dead by the Orcbarians, lays in a puddle of his own blood in a mass grave of his fellow townsfolk as the vile creatures stab the bodies to make sure their dead. Luckily, he escapes before they can get to him.
Of the 200+ people who lived there, only 4 survive, making this one of the most tragic mass killings in the history of our world.
Mida-Li has been wiped off the map, only ashes remain in the site that was once the most prosperous farming town in Kamiya.
