I came from the west of Crimson Moon. the area is not very populated but the community survives. we did not have a name for our village because, to be honest no one really cared. we survived off the land hunting and farming. most of the men and boys learn to fish and hunt as soon as they could hold a bow or tend the fishing lines. My father was the leader of this community but that really had no meaning to the others. everyone was equals and respected. no one went without or was ever hungry.
when i became of age to start my own family my father gave me a spot of land and a mighty bow that he himself had made. "Godric, you have grown into a fine young man. You are Respected among the villagers and are respectful back. You pull your weight and help out when ever you can. I am proud you call you my son" a few years later we were preparing for the yearly harvest festial and me and my Father went to hunt the meat for the feast. My father and I were hands down the best shot with a bow in our village. we even would make a game out of who could get the better shot. but on this hunt the forest around seemed very quiet. too quiet. we went farther into the woods but there was no game to be found. then we heard a rustle sound and out stepped a sinister looking creature. When he spoke to my father, it sounded as an old friend. "it is time Greywolf" i looked at my father puzzled and when he turned to me i saw no fear, but regret. " Godric. i have to tell you something. many years ago when your mother died i buried her amongst her people. when i told you that she was buried in our grave yard it was not true. one day when you were still young i made a deal with this man here to let you go learn their ways. to become one of them." I didn't understand what he was talking about but i trusted my father, so i said to the man, " what am i to learn my good sir?" and he answered " you are to learn the way of the bow, sword and magic. you are to learn how to command an army and kill with courage and honor."
i turned back to my father and told him that i will be an obedient son and go do this. so i left my village and began a new life as one of my mother's people. she was apparently a noble elf. she had left her people for my father and a simple but happy life. so i learned the sword, excelled at the bow, and began learning the ways of the druid.
one day a party of men came upon our hidden place. They were called The Band of the Red hand. They were seeking safe passage through our forest and was traveling to Crimson Moon. my master told me to let them trough. then he said some thing that caught me of guard. "Godric. You must go with these men. You must go fight with them and possibly one day lead them. Their cause is just and there hearts good and pure. go and become one of them. but return to us one day to finish your training." So once again i obeyed. I joined the Band of the red hand and there began my ultimate adventure.
