Varian - after his experience in the old city has picked up a dark spirit that merged with his soul (( i'll be playing healer but in a necromancer/ deathknight / lich type way))

Katzu has (or rather will regain once his god frees him from this geas):
* Mizu - Monk's Spirit Familiar (Celestial Codex)
* Kaze - Air Elemental serving as a gift from the Elemental Courts of Air (Dor un Avathar)
* Squirtle - Animal Familiar (Dor un Avathar)
* Naragai - Yamabushi (Book of Engoku)
Katzu is currently a Man, Asian despite some rounding of his features due to the various sorceries/reincarnations/resurrects inflicted on him over the years. Katzu currently can only access his 6th level Healer abilities and has all of his other (substantial) powers sealed off until he completes a Grail Quest, at which time he will return to all of his classes and re-ascend to his true estate as an Angelic Hero (Dor un Avathar.)

Bren Talvane- fine elven tobacco conniseur. (did i spell that right?)
(( ive noticed a lot of peoples characters dont really differ from their mundane selves. why is this? when i step onto the field i BECOME Bren Talvane, not just a guy with silly outfit and a made up name. (although sometimes i venture a little out of character.) im not hating on anyone, cuz i understand not everyone can really get into their characters like i can, which is why im a boss. because i can alter my wtfever to match my made up character. GO ME!!! some of you have probably tried that, but it maybe didnt work out. but for me it makes the game moar fun.))

I'm so into my persona,I have to fight for control.Difference is I,like many others,have "grown"my persona,many things went into it,and it didn't happen within my first 6 months.Sometimes your in the right spot,other times you end up playing a raptor in drag.Build off your experiences and successes.

Bren,
I've "known" Katzu for a decade, and when he was created I modeled Katzu off of all the things I wanted to be in real life. I've grown into all the personality traits of Katzu's (and if you've heard me say it I was actually leaving the game before I returned to service,) so I've really no more to learn from him short of completely re-invisioning the Character (something I'm toying with in degrees, now that you've mentioned it.)

actually Rosalin gets more depressed than me. She's strong through it, but every now and then she'll get drunk to make the pain stop.
I'm not a melancholy person at all.
Rosalin is a little more social too.
Not only that, it is easier to make a character either based off some of your own talents or likes, or, like in Katzu's case, something you would like to be. If you are just starting out, it's a lot easier to intergrate if you don't have to act like someone else completely.
Ros has my affinity for stories, but she does not create them, she tells histories, for her they are not fake. I prefer fiction. Rosalin tends to be a little more aloof and trusting towards people than I am.
There are differences, but you know our persona's at park, have you hung out with some of us in real life? Some are completely different from our personas, where as others are very well practically the same. Just a matter of what you see and know.

Rosalin actually has a fae affinity. Fae by the old world definition that is, where anything with magic and and looks pretty/appealing/or different but not disgusting, is something she is interested in.
Elves, Fairies, half-elves, Spirits,
etc....
That and for some reason she seems to have been born with a fae freaking magnet embedded in her system. *sighs*

Also, there are differences between Matt and Katzu, even with as much "blending" as there has been all these years.
As hard as it may be to believe, Matt is way more casual and introspective, bordering on being the quiet, bookish type. But that happens rarely, and usually only around trusted friends or people who need to have unabashed honesty levelled their way.
Katzu is really my public "armor." He's my arrogance, unwavering strength, and near tireless energy all wrapped into one. He's my natural charisma on fire and with a mission. Its hard to catch me without my armor up, but believe me its been known to happen.

the difference between me and Bren.
me- somewhat hyperactive, foul mouthed, cant shut up to save my own life.
Bren- quiet, always sticking to the back of crowds, always on guard for the first sign of danger, never afraid, always cool, talks with an accent. in other words "generic midieval hero".

For me, Setsuko is much more serious than I am, with a much stronger sense of professionalism. Setsuko also tends to be more confident. Oh, and she kills people. I don't kill... Okay maybe that one time.  |

Azrael is the angel of Death
having been amond humans for so long he wishes to understand human emotions more so he takes a corporeal form to try to be more like the people he sees.
he has trouble understanding people and so doesnt always act appropriately.
