Just as Valmir opens the door to leave, Artin stands in front of it. "If you must know, the new Duchess is Samara Du Lac, I am sure she will not mind you staying here till you are well," Artin said, pushing Valmir out of the doorway. "Your father sent me to see if you are well, he is in the forest trying to find some answers. Seeing as I am deathly afraid of spiders and am of no use with them around other than to burn the forest down, he sent me away," she said as she sat down on the bed. She then bent over and pulled Chunko's leg to her, almost making him fall, and raised his pant leg to examine his wound. "So the rumors are true. Chunko, you must stay here till I have been to see Ravenna. Many others have died of wounds much less worse than your's; I do not know how you have recovered from this but I can assure you it is nothing good," she said as she put his pants back right. Chunko, looking slightly violated, backed away and looked as if he were about to say something but Artin cut him off. "I will have no back talk, Valmir can get you anything you need and you will not leave this manor," she said as she stood then walked from the room and closed the door behind her.
